# Amazon listings straight from the PIM: video of the Amazon integration
The Amazon integration in PIM for Shopware, shown entirely in test mode: nothing is sent to Amazon during the whole video.

## What the video shows
- Amazon is a separate add-on in the PIM: try it free for 14 days, the trial ends on its own.
- In test mode nothing goes to Amazon, everything runs in your own shop, no Amazon account needed.
- For live selling you add your Seller Central credentials later, and the connection test works in test mode too.
- You choose which products go to Amazon by source: filter presets, product groups, manufacturers or categories.
- A surcharge of your own covers the Amazon fees, and rounding to .99 gives neat prices.
- A safety stock prevents overselling, and prices and stock are synchronised every 10 minutes.
- Amazon orders get their own order numbers such as AZ-10000, and the PIM reports shipping and cancellations back.
- Your own title and description for Amazon, by hand or with AI. The shop keeps its texts.
- Transfer all products with one click and add a missing EAN right in the PIM.
- Scheduled discounts just for Amazon lower the Amazon price automatically.
- A test order is created as a Shopware order straight away, with fees, shipping label and marketplace filter.
- A test return is booked in one click, credit note included.
- The report shows revenue, fees, refunds and margin, plus top products and payouts.
- Test data can be deleted again at any time.

## In numbers
- 0 % transaction fees: a fixed monthly price instead of a revenue share
- Unlimited product uploads, no cap on the number of listings
- 10 min interval for syncing prices and stock automatically
- 14 days free trial, in test mode without any Amazon account

## Connect Amazon, test it first
Before a product goes live on Amazon, you want to see how prices, texts and orders work together. That is exactly what the video shows, entirely in test mode: the marketplace is simulated in your own shop, nothing is sent to Amazon and you do not need an Amazon account. The listings in the video are therefore only live in the simulation.
As an example, all garden furniture from the manufacturer Fjordlicht goes to Amazon. The video walks through the settings for connection, product selection, prices, stock and texts, writes Amazon texts by hand and with AI and transfers the products with an error check. It then plays through a discount promotion, a test order, a shipping label, a return and the report.

## Features in detail

### Texts just for Amazon
Amazon texts live in a marketplace language of their own that is not visible in the shop. Empty fields show the shop text, and the AI writes title and description with your tone and instructions.

### Prices with surcharge and rounding
The Amazon price is based on the shop price, with a percentage or fixed surcharge and rounding, for example to .99. Scheduled discounts apply to Amazon only and start and end automatically.

### Orders in Shopware
Amazon orders are created as Shopware orders with their own number range, the Amazon badge and fees. The order overview lets you filter by marketplace.

### Returns and reporting
A return is booked in one click: restock, create a credit note and confirm on Amazon. The report shows revenue, fees, refunds and margin.

## Tips for everyday use
- Play everything through in test mode first, then add your Seller Central credentials for live selling.
- Check your EANs: products without a valid EAN are not transferred and end up under Error.
- Clean up after testing with "Delete test data": test orders, test listings and the simulated marketplace are removed again.

## Frequently asked questions

**Do I need an Amazon account for test mode?**
No. Test mode simulates Amazon in your own shop. Upload, sync, orders, shipping and cancellation notices run as if real, but nothing is sent to Amazon. The PIM fills missing credentials with sample values.

**Do the Amazon texts change my shop?**
No. They live in a separate marketplace language that is not assigned to any sales channel. The shop keeps its texts.

**Why is a product not transferred?**
Usually the EAN is missing, invalid or used more than once. The note appears next to the product in the product list. You add the missing EAN right in the PIM and send again.
