Replacement for Import/Export Advanced in Shopware 6: import products as usual

Anyone coming from Shopware 5 often misses the Import/Export Advanced plugin. Shopware 6 has a built-in import/export with profiles, but without Excel, without matching by EAN and without undo. The PIM fills this gap directly in the Shopware admin.

What the PIM does here
  • Files as usual: CSV, TSV, XML, Excel (.xlsx, .xls) and DATANORM, by upload or from a URL.
  • All languages in one file: translations as their own columns per sales channel and language.
  • Matching without IDs: by product number, EAN, manufacturer number or product ID, variants via the parent product number.
  • Safe: preview, strict mode, change log and "Undo last import".

Switching in three steps

  1. Export with a profile such as "Master data", "Prices & stock" or "Full export" as a template.
  2. Adapt old files: map the columns once and save them as an import profile.
  3. A small test run, then the whole file. Every run appears in the change log.

On top, the PIM offers what Import/Export Advanced never could: bulk editing with snapshot, variant generator and AI texts.
