Dashboard & data quality · your catalogue at a glance
The PIM dashboard shows how complete and ready for sale your catalogue is: key figures, stock warnings, prioritised issues and a completeness score per product. Every finding leads to the matching filtered product list with one click.
Opening and loading
You open the dashboard via the menu item "PIM Dashboard" in the Stone & Water menu or via the button in the PIM header. The role "View" is required, regular users additionally need the visibility "PIM dashboard".
Loading happens in two phases: first the counts appear, then the PIM reads all products in packages of 500 for the detailed analysis, with a progress indicator. The last result is cached in the browser and shown immediately the next time, while the dashboard recalculates in the background. By default the dashboard only evaluates main products.
KPI cards
19 cards are available, only Total products, Active and Ø Completeness are visible initially. You enable more in the config matrix.
- Basics: Total products, Active, Inactive, Variants, Ø Completeness, New (7 days)
- Price and quality: Ø price, Min. price, Max. price, Without price, With list price, Ø images, Without images, Without description, Without SEO, Without categories, Short description, Duplicate EAN, Not assigned
"Without SEO" counts products with neither meta title nor meta description, "Without images" products without a cover image, "Not assigned" main products without a sales channel. "Duplicate EAN" counts all products whose EAN occurs more than once. Prices are gross prices, products without a price are excluded from the average.
Trend arrows compare with the last stored daily value. The PIM keeps up to 30 daily values in the browser for this. For problem figures a decrease is shown in green.
Stock status
This area appears as soon as there are hits:
- Out of stock: active products with stock 0
- Low stock: active products with stock between 1 and the threshold
- Inactive with stock: deactivated products that still have stock
Products marked as closeout are not counted for "Out of stock" and "Low stock", an empty stock is intended there. Next to it, "Top 10 - lowest stock" lists the scarcest products, a click opens the product.
Top issues by severity
The list shows up to five issues with count and share of the catalogue. Red issues come before amber ones, within a level the count decides. Issues without hits are left out. "Fix" opens the matching filtered product list.
| Severity | Checks |
|---|---|
| Red | Out of stock, products without a price, without images, without description, without categories, active without visibility, without sales channel assignment |
| Amber | Inactive with stock, low stock, products without SEO data, short descriptions, duplicate EANs |
Data quality and completeness checks
The Data quality area shows a bar with "filled / total" for each enabled check: green from 80 percent, amber from 50 percent, red below. For every product the PIM calculates a completeness score: the weights of the filled fields divided by the sum of all weights, in percent. The completeness distribution in five levels from 0-20 to 81-100 percent and the lists "Recently modified" and "Least complete" with ten products each are based on it. In addition there are the top 10 manufacturers by catalogue share and a price distribution in seven levels.
The 31 checked fields
- Master data: name, product number, description, manufacturer, manufacturer number, EAN / GTIN, cover image, categories, release date
- Prices: price, tax class, purchase price, list price / RRP
- Shipping and logistics: stock, delivery time, restock time, free shipping, closeout, weight, width, height, length, purchase unit, content quantity, base price unit, minimum order, maximum order, purchase steps
- SEO: meta title, meta description, keywords
Numeric fields such as stock or weight only count as filled with a value above 0. If variants are included, they take over missing values from the main product.
Weighting and thresholds
Every field gets a weight: Ignore (0), Normal (1×), Important (2×) or Very important (3×). Out of the box, name, description and price count twice, EAN, manufacturer, stock, cover image, meta title, meta description, delivery time, weight and categories once. All other fields are set to "Ignore".
- Low stock warning from: default 5, adjustable from 1 to 999
- Short description under (characters): default 50, adjustable from 1 to 9999
"Dashboard" tab in the config matrix
All settings are in the config matrix, tab "Dashboard":
- General: "Include variants" adds variants to data quality and completeness (default: off)
- Dashboard thresholds: low stock and short description
- KPI cards: each of the 19 cards individually, with "Select all"
- Data quality checks: which fields appear as bars, grouped as above
- Completeness weighting: the weight per field, also grouped
Jump to the filtered product list
A click on a clickable card or on "Fix" opens the product list. The PIM resets all previous filters and activates exactly the matching filter, for example "active", "without images" or "created in the last seven days". For the visibility figures the list takes over exactly the hits of the card, so card and list show the same set.
What's next
You fill missing data fastest with bulk edit or AI text generation. How filters and columns work is explained in the product listing, who may see the dashboard is defined in permissions & super admin.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I only see three KPI cards?
Out of the box only Total products, Active and Ø Completeness are enabled. You activate the other 16 cards in the config matrix, tab "Dashboard", under "KPI cards".

Not by default, only main products are evaluated. With "Include variants" in the "Dashboard" tab they are added to data quality and completeness.
How is completeness calculated?
For every product the weights of the filled fields are added up and divided by the sum of all weights. Fields with weight 0 are not counted.
How up to date are the figures?
The dashboard recalculates every time it is opened. Until the new calculation is finished, it shows the last cached result.
