Shopware Amazon integration: offers straight from the PIM on Amazon
With the Amazon for PIM add-on you bring Shopware products to Amazon: as an offer on existing products by EAN or as a new product via the matching product type. The PIM syncs prices and stock, and Amazon orders, including those from the FBA warehouse, become Shopware orders with their own number range.

- Amazon with your own access (Amazon Selling Partner API), without a connector service.
- Own Amazon texts as a separate language, also by AI. Categories and attributes by AI.
- Prices and stock every 10 minutes, price rules and scheduled discounts.
- Amazon orders in Shopware, shipping and cancellations reported back.
Set up the Shopware Amazon integration in four steps
- Register as a developer: in Seller Central under Apps and Services - Develop apps, register as a developer for your own account.
- Authorise a private app: create a private app and authorise it yourself. This gives you the LWA client ID, LWA client secret and the refresh token.
- Enter the connection: enter the three values, your seller ID (merchant token from the account info) and the Amazon site, then test the connection.
- Select and upload: choose products with a valid EAN and upload them. The PIM looks up the matching Amazon product for each EAN.
Every field is explained in the guide to Amazon.
What is different on Amazon
Amazon separates product and offer. If the product already exists, the PIM attaches your offer to it by EAN. With the option "Create new products" it creates products that do not exist on Amazon yet. For this you assign an Amazon product type to every shop category in the Categories tab and fill its required attributes, with help from the AI. The country of origin is then required as well.
- Six Amazon sites in the EU: amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.es, amazon.nl and amazon.com.be. You add further sites as additional accounts.
- Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA): FBA orders are imported and FBA stock is fetched hourly. These orders do not change shop stock.
- Buy Shipping: shipping labels via Amazon straight from the order.
- After the sale: returns with credit notes, invoice upload, fees and payouts, review requests and repricing against competitors (Buy Box).
- Own channel and number range: Amazon orders with numbers like AZ-10000.
Categories and attributes for Amazon by AI
Amazon requires a category for every product and, depending on the category, required attributes. In the Categories tab every shop category gets a Amazon category, and subcategories inherit the assignment. The automation searches the Amazon category tree, the AI picks the best match, and you accept the suggestions with one click. The PIM fills attributes from manufacturer, EAN, manufacturer number, properties or fixed values, and the AI maps fixed value lists.
Which products go to Amazon
You put the selection together from the same building blocks you already use in the PIM: filter presets, dynamic product groups, manufacturers and categories. All sources are combined, a product only has to match one of them. Optionally inactive products and products without stock stay out. Before uploading, the PIM checks every product and shows missing or invalid EAN, duplicate EAN, missing title, missing description, missing image and missing price right in the list.
Your own Amazon texts, also by AI
The texts for Amazon live in the PIM in a separate marketplace language that inherits from your base language. Empty fields show the shop text, your own texts apply only to Amazon and are not visible in the shop. So Amazon gets a fitting title (up to 200 characters) and its own description, without changing your shop.
At the push of a button the AI writes title and description per main product, with tone (factual, promotional, technical, friendly) and your own instructions. It uses the AI provider from the PIM configuration (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Mistral), or a separate account just for marketplaces.
Prices, stock and sync every 10 minutes
The Amazon price is based on the sales or list price of your shop, with a percentage mark-up for fees, a fixed amount and rounding to .99, .95, .90 or whole amounts. For stock you subtract a safety buffer and optionally cap the reported quantity. The PIM reports inactive products with stock 0.
As long as the marketplace is active, the PIM syncs changed prices and stock every 10 minutes and fetches new orders. You can also trigger both by hand, and every step is in the log.
Scheduled discounts for Amazon
You create discounts in the PIM per marketplace: as a percentage or fixed amount, for filter presets, dynamic product groups, manufacturers or categories, with start and end. The discount applies only to Amazon. When it starts or ends, the new prices go to Amazon within 10 minutes. If several discounts apply, the lowest price wins. In the product list you filter by running and planned discounts.
Amazon orders in Shopware
The PIM creates new Amazon orders as normal Shopware orders, with the marketplace prices, optionally marked as paid and without an email from the shop to the customer. They run through their own inactive sales channel Amazon with their own number range (for example AZ-10000), so they stay separate in reporting and accounting. In the order list you filter by marketplace and recognise every order by the Amazon logo.
When you set the delivery to shipped in Shopware, carrier and tracking number go to Amazon. When you cancel the order, the PIM cancels the items at Amazon with the chosen reason.
After the sale: returns, invoices, reports
Whatever Amazon offers via its interface, the PIM handles too:
- Fetch and book returns: stock back, credit note on the invoice, payment status, confirmation at the marketplace
- Upload invoices and credit notes to the order automatically
- Fees per order in the report with revenue, cost of goods and margin
- Payouts matched against the orders
- Request a review automatically after shipping
- Adjust the price hourly to competitors (lowest offer or Buy Box), never below the minimum price
- Shipping labels via Buy Shipping
- FBA orders and FBA stock
Plus, for all marketplaces with order import: shipping labels for DHL, GLS and DPD straight from the order, with the tracking number sent to Amazon automatically.
Several accounts and countries, errors by email
For each marketplace you create as many accounts as you need, for example another country. Every account has its own credentials, products, prices, categories, sales channel and number range. When creating one you copy the settings from the existing account. If you like, the PIM reports errors during sync, order fetch or upload by email, bundled.
