Add-on Kaufland for PIM

Shopware Kaufland integration: sell products straight from the PIM on Kaufland

With the Kaufland for PIM add-on you list Shopware products on Kaufland without a connector service and without CSV uploads in the Seller Portal. Selection, texts, prices and stock come from the PIM, and Kaufland orders arrive as Shopware orders in your order list.

What the PIM does here
  • Kaufland with your own access (Kaufland Seller API), without a connector service.
  • Own Kaufland texts as a separate language, also by AI. Categories and attributes by AI.
  • Prices and stock every 10 minutes, price rules and scheduled discounts.
  • Kaufland orders in Shopware, shipping and cancellations reported back.
Test mode: the PIM simulates Kaufland in your own shop. Upload, sync, test order, shipping and cancellation notices run as if real, but nothing is sent to Kaufland. The PIM fills missing credentials with sample values. When you delete the test data, test orders are removed and the stock is booked back.

Set up the Shopware Kaufland integration in four steps

  1. Create keys: in the Kaufland Seller Portal under Settings - API create a client key and a secret key.
  2. Enter the connection: in the PIM under Marketplaces, enter both keys for Kaufland, choose the storefront and click "Test connection". The test shows how many offers are already in the account.
  3. Select products: via filter presets, dynamic product groups, manufacturers or categories, optionally only active products and only products in stock.
  4. Texts and upload: optionally create your own Kaufland texts, then upload the selection.

Every field is explained in the guide to Kaufland.

What is different on Kaufland

Kaufland works with offers per EAN. The PIM therefore replaces main products with variants by their variants, and every variant with its own EAN becomes its own offer. Shopware properties are sent as attributes. Available storefronts: Germany (kaufland.de), Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, France and Italy, with prices in the local currency.

  • Choose the condition: new or used in four grades, from "as new" to "acceptable".
  • Minimum price for repricing: if you like, the PIM tells Kaufland how many percent below your price its automatic repricing may go at most.
  • Titles up to 150 characters: the PIM shortens longer titles, and the AI writes your own Kaufland titles if you want.
  • Own channel and number range: Kaufland orders run through their own inactive sales channel with numbers like KL-10000.

Categories and attributes for Kaufland by AI

Kaufland requires a category for every product and, depending on the category, required attributes. In the Categories tab every shop category gets a Kaufland category, and subcategories inherit the assignment. The automation searches the Kaufland category tree, the AI picks the best match, and you accept the suggestions with one click. The PIM fills attributes from manufacturer, EAN, manufacturer number, properties or fixed values, and the AI maps fixed value lists.

Which products go to Kaufland

You put the selection together from the same building blocks you already use in the PIM: filter presets, dynamic product groups, manufacturers and categories. All sources are combined, a product only has to match one of them. Optionally inactive products and products without stock stay out. Before uploading, the PIM checks every product and shows missing or invalid EAN, duplicate EAN, missing title, missing description, missing image and missing price right in the list.

Your own Kaufland texts, also by AI

The texts for Kaufland live in the PIM in a separate marketplace language that inherits from your base language. Empty fields show the shop text, your own texts apply only to Kaufland and are not visible in the shop. So Kaufland gets a fitting title (up to 150 characters) and its own description, without changing your shop.

At the push of a button the AI writes title and description per main product, with tone (factual, promotional, technical, friendly) and your own instructions. It uses the AI provider from the PIM configuration (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Mistral), or a separate account just for marketplaces.

Prices, stock and sync every 10 minutes

The Kaufland price is based on the sales or list price of your shop, with a percentage mark-up for fees, a fixed amount and rounding to .99, .95, .90 or whole amounts. For stock you subtract a safety buffer and optionally cap the reported quantity. The PIM reports inactive products with stock 0.

As long as the marketplace is active, the PIM syncs changed prices and stock every 10 minutes and fetches new orders. You can also trigger both by hand, and every step is in the log.

Scheduled discounts for Kaufland

You create discounts in the PIM per marketplace: as a percentage or fixed amount, for filter presets, dynamic product groups, manufacturers or categories, with start and end. The discount applies only to Kaufland. When it starts or ends, the new prices go to Kaufland within 10 minutes. If several discounts apply, the lowest price wins. In the product list you filter by running and planned discounts.

Kaufland orders in Shopware

The PIM creates new Kaufland orders as normal Shopware orders, with the marketplace prices, optionally marked as paid and without an email from the shop to the customer. They run through their own inactive sales channel Kaufland with their own number range (for example KL-10000), so they stay separate in reporting and accounting. In the order list you filter by marketplace and recognise every order by the Kaufland logo.

When you set the delivery to shipped in Shopware, carrier and tracking number go to Kaufland. When you cancel the order, the PIM cancels the items at Kaufland with the chosen reason.

After the sale: returns, invoices, reports

Whatever Kaufland offers via its interface, the PIM handles too:

  • Fetch and book returns: stock back, credit note on the invoice, payment status, confirmation at the marketplace
  • Upload invoices and credit notes to the order automatically
  • Fees per order in the report with revenue, cost of goods and margin
  • Answer customer messages in the PIM, with AI reply suggestions
  • Minimum price for Smart Pricing from purchase price, fees and minimum margin

Plus, for all marketplaces with order import: shipping labels for DHL, GLS and DPD straight from the order, with the tracking number sent to Kaufland automatically.

Several accounts and countries, errors by email

For each marketplace you create as many accounts as you need, for example another country. Every account has its own credentials, products, prices, categories, sales channel and number range. When creating one you copy the settings from the existing account. If you like, the PIM reports errors during sync, order fetch or upload by email, bundled.
